Why are we having a Jubilee party?

A portrait painting of the Queen has inspired all the artists in our cohort and the children have made some wonderful self-portraits. Several children chose to draw the Queen herself, complete with crown, diamond necklace and the four corgi dogs. I was particularly impressed with one little boy who, having looked at a postage stamp, chose to draw a self-portrait but in profile.
