Having read the story of the Gingerbread man, the children were curious to know why
their favourite character didn't swim across the river. An afternoon was spent exploring just what would have happened to the Gingerbread Man, if he had jumped into the water!
Later in the week we practised writing the first letter of our name ......on the beach!
