Sensational sandcastles!

Having practised scooping, patting and tipping sand in our sand tray, the children were keen to try out their skills on the beach. A wonderful afternoon was spent creating sandcastles, some with a moat. The highlight of the day was collecting water to test that the moat actually worked!
