Remembering with poppies

The children made their own individual poppy by painting on a small circular wooden disc. On Tuesday afternoon the children took the poppies to the War Memorial in Shaldon and lay them in the shape of a wreath. Some of the older children were interested in the names on the side of the memorial. Some children shared their own stories about their grandads and great grandads.
