What a week! We celebrated the Platinum Jubilee a week early and, all week, the children were busy getting ready for the picnic in the park on Friday afternoon. They made crowns, decorated bunting to hang on the park fence and baked scones to have with jam and cream for their snack. On Friday afternoon we were delighted to be joined by so many families for our celebratory picnic. All the children (and some of the parents!) took part in a walk around the park to raise money for new resources for our Pre-School. The sun shone and the children loved enjoying the park with their friends. We hope that we have given them all really happy memories of the Jubilee.
